Located in the heart of the historic center, this hotel offers a fantastic location directly opposite the impressive Cathedral. You'll be right in the middle of all the action, surrounded by pedestrianized streets and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and attractions. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, with comfortable beds and modern amenities. The breakfast is cooked to perfection and the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate guests' needs.
Limited parking facilities may inconvenience those who prefer to have their car close by.

The extremely comfortable, large beds were extremely welcome as this usually is the source of disappointment in most hotels. Very central location being able to walk outside straight onto shops and restaurants and the view overlooking the Cathedral is great.
The lift was a little unreliable. We unfortunately had a drainage problem with the shower/wet room so that the whole area was flooded. However when reported to reception, the problem was immediately resolved with speed and efficiency.

We had a wonderful stay here in the heart of the city center, with perfect views of the cathedral directly opposite. The staff provided great service, from the front desk to the waiters in the restaurant. The room amenities, including air conditioning and an in-room safe, were excellent. The dining options were great, with a restaurant and a bar/lounge area. We also appreciated the free Wi-Fi and the convenience of the lift. this place offered enhanced comfort, quality services, and a beautiful location.
This place is recommended for families as well, although we didn't have any negative experiences to mention.

Exellent location & friendly staff. Food is fantastic and good value either in the main restaurant or the grill bar.
The standard rooms while comfortable & well appointed are very small. Just about OK for one but it would be a sqeeze for 2.

The location in the heart of the City next to the Cathedral was excellent, and we were made to feel very welcome by all of the staff. I loved the room we stayed in, it was roomy, comfortable and tastefully decorated, and had a view of the Cathedral.
I feel it is a little pricy.

Spent my Easter break at a hotel in a prime location with stunning views! The staff was very friendly and professional throughout my stay. The bathroom was spotless and spacious with fluffy towels, and the king-size bed was delightfully comfortable. The included breakfast was varied and filling! The hotel also offered free Wi-Fi and toiletries, which was a nice extra touch.
The noise level was a bit high, as I could hear the guests in the room next to me and the traffic outside. The decor in my room could have used a bit of updating, but it was clean and tidy.

Very small room - no space to swing a cat, but otherwise good.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right in the city centre and close to everything. The hotel facilities were great and we particularly enjoyed the tavern next door. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and overall, we had an amazing experience.
Couldn't find any faults at all.

The hotel had a great location, with a lovely view of the nearby cathedral. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. The room I stayed in was comfortable and well-appointed, with a nice view of the city. The hotel also had a wonderful restaurant, with top-notch food and attentive service.
There were a few disappointing aspects. The hotel was hard to find, and the directions provided were confusing.

Excellent experience all round. A very early check in was facilitated on arrival, preferences as per booking discussed, followed by upgrade to a lovely room with wonderful views. A proper iron,& kettle and generous tea supply were in situ. This hotel is 60 paces from the cathedral, surrounded by shops and excellent eateries. The railway station is just four minutes away by foot. Staff were friendly, welcoming and anticipatory.Being able to leave luggage til departure was very helpful.
The website info and pictures fail to show the truly unique and stunning setting of this lovely hotel. It retains its old world elegance, and considerable charm, with clever modern comfort.

The bed was particularly comfortable. The location is excellent as well.
The fire alarm that rang for 45 minutes whilst we packed on Monday was obviously irritating. More minor niggles were the handle on the inner gate of the lift (there's no protective plate behind the handle on one side, and I caught my finger), and the fact that the room didn't have a bath (the shower was fantastic, though).
